St. Luke's
Welcomes your Baby
We welcome your precious children. Your St. Luke’s church family takes very seriously the role of growing and nurturing children in their journey of discipleship.
We look forward to sharing ideas about children and faith development and offering ministries where your child will grow in faith. We are available to give a listening ear for your family as you grow together in love, joys, and difficult times. May the blessing of this little child enrich your life.
Please contact us if we can be of assistance.
Blessings,
Dr. Charlotte Teel
Minister to Families with Children
While Your Child is at Church
- Please keep the following suggestions in mind as you prepare to bring your child to church.
- Please label everything with your child’s name. Label the bag, bottles, cups, clothes, pacifiers, blankets, coasts, etc. Use a sharpie or permanent marker on item or on masking tape and adhere to item.
- Provide plenty of diapers (a minimum of two), wipes and an extra change of clothes.
- Infants who are bottle fed, pack one more bottle than you really think will be needed.
- If you use powdered formula and prefer to have the bottle prepared as needed, please measure out the proper amount of formula into the bottle before you leave home. Mark on the bottle with masking tape the amount of water to be added.
- If you are breastfeeding, tell the caregivers when you anticipate the next feeding and check with the nursery staff periodically.
- If using a pacifier, attach to a short ribbon with a clip at the other end.
- If potty training, notify the caregiver and send extra clothes to help your child the comfortable if an accident occurs.
- Toddlers and some preschoolers still need to bring a bag with a change of clothes for spills.
Roxanne Long and our Wee Adventure Staff lovingly receive your little one. Our caregivers are available at the following times:
