Goals & Mission

  • The goal of Studio 222 is to provide a safe, positive environment where inner city youth can develop strong, healthy self esteems and hope for their future.

  • Studio 222 will provide characterbuilding programs, rich in the arts and filled with adventure, as we hope to help youth develop the skills and knowledge to dream great dreams and become productive, contributing members of our community.
  • Life skills such as goal setting and teamwork are learned through economic development of a project. For example: the students will write a story for a comic book, then illustrate, print, learn how to market and sell the book or they may write the lyrics to songs, produce, record and sell the songs.
  •
We encourage all individuals to know
they are important, have a sense of
optimism in life, exhibit resiliency during
change, have a sense of spirituality,
be unified, respect diversity and
have a sense of humor.

Volunteer Opportunities
"A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was,
the sort of house lived in, or the kind of car / drove.
But the world may be different because
I was important in the life of a child."
