Frequently Asked Questions
Why join a small group? St. Luke's is a large faith community, in the small groups is where you connect more intimately with others and make life-long friends! The small groups study together, pray together and celebrate together. Follow the sound of laughter and the smell of coffee and cappuccino.
How do I decide what small groups to visit? Read through the descriptions on this page and select 2-3 to begin with. Visitors are always welcome, consider visiting the same class 2-3 weeks in a row. If you need help contact Rev. Linda Truitt at 609-1009 or ltruitt@stlukesokc.org for a small group tour.
Should my children go to worship with me? Yes! We provide activity notebooks to help them enjoy the time. It is very beneficial for children to experience worship and learn to be still. If child or infant is upset there are areas where you and the child can watch the service together. For the traditional service the Watchorn chapel has the worship service telecast. For Lifelight there is a room at the back of the CLC where the worship service is telecast.
How do I meet Bob Long? Dessert with Bob is offered regularly on Sunday afternoons at 2 PM. For the next scheduled date go to www.stlukesokc.org/join This is a chance to meet Dr. Long and his wife Marsha, and many of the St. Luke's staff members and have some great desserts.
